Welcome to the BA Games Design Blog

From the ground up the BA Games Design degree has been developed in consultation with leading figures and companies from the games industry. These discussions and consultations throughout the development process helped identify the core and extra skills required for a successful career in games design and these have been embedded into the programme. Each module is carefully structured and sits within the degree so that the skills are learned progressively and build on top of one another.

Students will develop all the core and extra skills required to design, develop and publish their own games across a number of platforms including PC, iPhone, iPad and Xbox 360. The technical expertise and industry aligned equipment at the University Centre Grimsby are state-of-the-art and provide an incredibly strong foundation to build and structure a successful collegiate career.
